Apply now for the next round of No Child Left Inside grants
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is now accepting applications for phase 4 of the No Child Left Inside grant program. Applications must be received by 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24. Visit the No Child Left Inside webpage to learn more and find information on how to apply.
The DNR will host an informational webinar at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, to review phase 4 grant requirements, application process, and to answer questions. If you would like to attend, you must pre-register here. The webinar will also be recorded and posted to the No Child Left Inside webpage when available.
Phase 4 consists of larger grant awards with a more extensive application process, competitive review, and greater project scope. The minimum funding request is $5,000, with a maximum request of $25,000. Please review the Request for Proposals for a complete listing of phase 4 criteria and requirements.
There are $250,000 in grant funds available during phase 4. At least $100,000 of those funds will be dedicated to high-scoring fishing and hunting related projects. Applications will be competitively reviewed and awarded on a geographically balanced statewide basis. Additional phases are being planned for late 2022/early 2023 with an additional $450,000 in funding available.
