Join us for Legislative Action Day

One important thing you can do to help us achieve our legislative goals is to attend our Legislative Action Day on Feb. 26.

The day will start at with registration at 9:30 a.m. at the office of Flaherty & Hood, which is located one block away from the State Capitol in St. Paul. We’ve invited DNR Commissioner Sarah Strommen to address our members.  DNR staff who work on the local and regional park and trail grant programs will be stopping by. Our lobbyist Elizabeth Wefel will talk about how to make your voice heard at the Legislature. Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission Executive Director Renee Mattson will talk about their efforts. And we’ll be heading to the Capitol to meet with some of the key legislators who work on parks and trails issues. It should be a great day! We hope you can join us.
