LCCMR extends deadline for grant applications to April 30
The Environment and Natural Resource Trust fund (ENRTF) is an important source of grant funding for parks and trails. To be selected, applicants must go through the application process to be recommended by the Legislative-Citizens Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR). The Legislature must then approve those recommendations, which they typically do. Multiple GMPT members have had success over the last several years in obtaining funding through this process.
Recognizing challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the LCCMR has extended the deadline for submitting proposes to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30. More information can be found on the 2021 Proposal and Funding Process page
As a reminder, the proposal process is completely on line this year so staff at the LCCMR encourages you to register for an on-line account early and to reach out to them with questions.
