Video: Forum provides info on how to pursue state bonding for a park or trail project
Thank to you everyone who attended our online forum last week on the issue of state bonding. If you missed it, you can watch video of the forum at youtu.be/ezHEkS07Ins.
A question we frequently hear from our members is whether they should pursue state bonding for a park or trail project, and if so how? In this one-hour presentation/forum on bonding for parks and trails, GMPT lobbyist Elizabeth Wefel discusses how to determine whether your project might be eligible for bonding dollars, what you need to do now to prepare for your request, and how to move it forward through the legislative session.
In addition to her work for the GMPT, Elizabeth has successfully lobbied for bonding funds for individual parks and trails as well as other projects. If you have any questions about bonding, you can reach her at eawefel@flaherty-hood.com.
