Member Highlight: 2025 Tomassoni Tour – Cycle for ALS

The Tomassoni Tour – Cycle for ALS, organized by Never Surrender, Inc., returned to the Mesabi Trail in Minnesota from September 18–20, 2025. Held in memory of the late Senator David Tomassoni, who lost his life to ALS, the ride brings together cyclists, volunteers, and supporters to raise funds and awareness for ALS research and patient support.
This year, 95 cyclists rode up to 100 miles along the scenic Mesabi Trail with full- and half-course options available. Riders of all abilities participated, including those on adaptive trikes, ensuring the event remained inclusive and accessible. With the help of 25 volunteers, the event was able to raise $321,000, surpassing the $300,000 goal. In 2025 alone, Never Surrender, Inc. raised over $2.27 million in 2025 across all three of its events.
It’s more than just a ride, the 2025 Tomassoni Tour embodied community, resilience, and hope. Surpassing fundraising records, welcoming adaptive riders, and drawing attention to ALS challenges, the event continues to honor Senator Tomassoni’s legacy while fueling momentum toward a future without ALS.
