Save the date! May forum to feature discussion on Emerald Ash Borer mitigation

Ash trees are such an important forest cover in both urban and natural Minnesota parks and trail corridors. As more of us navigate the mitigation of high-risk, dying trees, and replacing lost canopy, we need to learn together! What is working, what has been cost effective, and what resources are available?

Join us on Tuesday, May 13, at 9:00 a.m. for a discussion on Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) management led by Josh Baas, City of Elk River Parks Maintenance Superintendent. Josh will share the strategy being employed by the City and what has been learned so far, as well as tips and tricks that you can apply to your own facilities. Removals largely happen in the fall through winter seasons so having this discussion now will position you better to efficiently implement management when the season comes. If you have been dealing with EAB and ash removal/replacement, please join us to share what you have learned! To attend the forum, register using the button below.
