GMRPTC Director’s Report for January 2023
Below is a message from GMRPTC Executive Director Renee Mattson. You can reach her at renee.mattson@gmrptcommission.org.

What a great winter it’s been! It seems as though every part of the state is enjoying snowy weather and the opportunity to have fun with winter sports, whatever form it takes.
The Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission (GMRPTC) publishes a Policy and Planning Report each January that describes the activities and work for the year. This report is shared with the Legislative Legacy Committees to provide them with more insight into the Greater Minnesota system, the work plan, and most importantly, the projects recommended for Legacy funding. A list of the projects can be found on page 5 of the report.
The report is available in hard copy as well as a downloadable pdf on the GMRPTC website here.
We are always seeking photos of Legacy projects in progress as well as photos of completed projects. Please share your photos with us, and they will likely be featured on the website or in the Policy and Planning Report! If you would like to receive a printed copy of the report, please send me an email at renee.mattson@gmrptcommission.org.
