Membership Update: Board approves dues increase

In June, the GMPT board approved a modest dues increase of approximately 5% across all membership categories that will take effect for 2025. Over the last decade, dues have remained flat with only one previous increase. Our expenses have increased over the period as have the services we offer to our members. We will continue to encourage members that are able to make an additional voluntary donation to support our work so that we can keep the dues low for members that are unable to afford more. 

As you work on your budget for next year, here are the new membership due levels: 

Local Governments

• $60 for jurisdictions with population of 1,000 or less
• $175 for jurisdictions with pop. 1,001-10,000
• $265 for jurisdictions with pop. 10,001-25,000
• $350 for jurisdictions with pop. 25,001-50,000
• $525 for jurisdictions with pop. 50,001 or more

$40 for Individuals

$150 for Nonprofits

$290 for businesses with 20 or fewer employees

$575 for businesses with more than 20 employees
